Fire In Authorize.net Data Center Shuts Down Ecommerce!

 
No this is not some silly tactic to get you to read this
blog post. It appears that authorize.net ( http://auth.net )

has suffered from a fire in one of their facilities.
Here is the link to the news story on this tragic fire:
I hope that nobody was injured, because that
would be even more tragic.
The side effect from this is that hundreds of
people were not able to buy Easy Sales Formula
from about 4:00AM until now. And there is still
no sign of when they are going to be up and running…
It would be cool if Keith could set it up for paypal
for the last few hours, but a huge sale like this would
cause paypal to get antsy and shut his account down
before asking questions. That is usually how they do
things in the Paypal world.
Keith did say that when auth.net comes back up he
will honor the $497 price until midnight. But you
should check the auth.net site first to see if it is up
before you try and make the purchase, since you
would have to wait until they are operational before
you could finalize the transaction.
Sorry to have to give you bad news like that, but
I know you would want to know why your credit
card is declining when you try to make the purchase.
I just checked the twitter account that they set up
to keep people posted, and here is the last info they
had:
#authorizenet I understand transaction processing is
back up with the exception of Global processing.

Now Keith did not say anything about if authorize.net
does not come back up until after midnight, if he
would allow anyone else to buy after that time.
As of now he stated that midnight is the cutoff.
Just check every now and then, I am sorry that
this happened, but we don’t have control over
a lot of these things.
