2006 was the year that Butterfly Marketing first came onto the market, but it wasn’t until 2007 that Butterfly Marketing websites really took off. The learning curve in 2006 was one of figuring out how to install the script and then how to make it work again after installing an update.

When Mike Filsaime first launched Butterfly Marketing, he had a vision of a website that covered all of the bases.  It allowed product owners to give away a front end product for list building, then it gave at least one offer for a paid product (in the early version one was good enough, but subsequent upgrades brought additional upsells and downsells) so that the product owner could make some money from the list building efforts.

Better yet was the viral nature of Butterfly Marketing, since the product owner would tell each person that downloaded his product for free that they could make money by giving away his product.  This was a big deal, and the viral product download became the norm for most of 2007.

Scripts came along in 2007 and 2008 that radically changed the complexion of the marketplace as Launch Formula Marketing came on the scene, then the $7 script came out, followed by the much more robust Rapid Action Profits and the plugins that are now available for it. Another new sales system is also launching this week called the Ultra Sales System that we may start hearing the buzz about soon enough.

Which then brings us back to the Butterfly Marketing Script.  Mike FIlsaime was never one to abandon his projects, and he saw that new modules would need to be added to his baby to keep up with the new marketplace.  In fact, he put another huge amount of development dollars into the script to make it even better!

This script that was $1997 back in 2006, and actually was still selling for that price as recently as a few weeks ago is really being transformed into a product worth so much more than that!  Mike Filsaime didn’t just sell the script, he included a marketing home study course that covered the basics through the advanced topics of marketing based on the Butterfly Effect that each piece of the marketing puzzle has on the others.

This marketing course has been compared to some high end college courses because of the concepts that are covered. And if you get anything from this course, make sure that you take the time to learn your conversion numbers!  If you can convert at a certain percentage, your traffic will consistently make you money and people will be eager to promote your products if they know that your numbers are worth their while!

When you are going through a lot of change in your life, everything seems to be going at the speed of light! People tell you what is going on it their lives, the news seems to be in chaos, bills come and go and you really don’t have time to breathe as the world zooms passed you so quickly!

I had to stop writing, I thought I was having an anxiety attack.

I know I tend to write from the heart on this blog.  Every once in a while I promote something, but most of the time, this blog is my soapbox.  I pull it out, stand on it and shout my feelings.

But recently, I have had a lot going on. Massive change in my world, new home, new life.  Even new love. I am not at liberty to tell my whole story, but let’s just say that my family is still in shock, two of my children still haven’t accepted it and I am finding that things are zooming by at breakneck speed!

Life in Beverly Hills and the rest of the world keeps going, not stopping for me. So I will open my sail and capture some of that energy, so I can pick up speed and ride along the whirlwind!
