Have You Seen The Mass Marketing About This?

Michael Rasmussen just released a product that promises to bring you a list of buyers instead of a list of subscribers.  It is called Get More Buyers and it launched to the usual thousands of emails!

If you did not want to spend a whole lot of money on the product, let me tell you a little of what you can do that would give you results like this promises.

• Add a killer bonus to a JV partner’s download page for a product he is selling.  The higher the positioning for this is crucial.  Mike Filsaime and Mark Joyner discussed this in Butterfly Marketing, it is called Integration Marketing and it really does put buyers on your list, and then all you have to do is convince them that they have to have your product, too.

  Key here is to give a very high value product (or at minimum, high perceived value) to give to the buyers, and the product should bridge the gap between the product you want to sell with the product that they just bought. 

  Let’s say you are adding your bonus to MyBloggingSchool (goes into prelaunch on November 1st) and you have a press release, article and video submission service called Easy Button Traffic that you know they are going to love.  So you create an ebook or a video that teaches a blogger how to write a compelling review for a product and then submit a press release, an article and a video about the product you are reviewing using the Easy Button Traffic software.  At that point you have just given your new customer a reason to buy the Easy Button Traffic product, too!

• Give away a free CD or DVD that they only have to pay the shipping on.  This brings in a crowd of people that you know are interested in your topic, since they just thawed their credit cards out of the freezer to get the DVD or CD shipped to their door!  They are buyers, and if your product funnel is set up with compelling offers, they will buy again and again!
• Joint venture with product owners who have no idea how to market.  You offer to set up the product on your website using your reseller software.  (I recommend using Rapid Action Profits, but 7 Dollar Scripts works well, too) You find JV partners to sell the product with an attractive affiliate offer.  The people who buy are now signing up for your list. You and your JV partner both get to email the buyers of your product.
• Selling a product with a 100% commission is an exciting way for you to attract buyers to your list.  The thing you need to keep in mind is that you want the price point to be high enough that people are going to want to promote.  $7 products are good, but they attract the wrong buyers.  You want people to buy $97 products, and you can build a huge list of $97 buyers, because people will want to sell $97 products when they know they are getting 100% commissions.

By Friday…

The buzz was no longer a loud hum, but rather an electric current coursing through the Internet, humming loud enough to grab your attention and crackling with loud snaps and pops to keep you coming back to check on it if you walked away for a few minutes!

On twitscoop.com, you could look up #JVAL and jvAlert and the number of tweets going out for those was incredible!  That is part of the reason I love to use tweetdeck so much, it lets you see the buzz words in a word cloud, so you can keep track of what the current conversation is all about and who the people that are carrying it are!

Sunday Ended All Too Soon!

We started later on Sunday, and ended early, but nobody wanted it to end.  I had people asking me to keep the feed live during the networking, so I did.  At dinnertime, I had the distinct honor of having dinner with Mari Smith, Ty Smith, Rick Butts, Odinn Sorensen, Stacy Makdad, Jenna Lloyd and Andrew Skelly for even more high powered networking.  Rick Butts was keeping everyone at the table laughing, and in between, he would dispense nuggets of absolute gold, that I had to pull out some note cards and write them down for immediate use!  Mari Smith revealed great things to implement on facebook and twitter; as well as a few things to avoid.  Andrew Skelly showed us the manuscript of a book he is writing and Jenna Lloyd revealed her secrets for writing a powerful book proposal that gets your book snatched up by publishers.  I caught a few things from Odinn about book launches with a powerful new system that is in the works, and Stacy revealed some of the culinary secrets of Trinidad…

   I make friends at each event.  My goal is to find someone that I can help with something, and I do not care what that person can do for me.  My intention is friendship not “what’s in it for me?”  Relationships that are built at jvAlert continue to grow outside.  I met Mike Morgan at the very first jvAlert Live event I attended, but I was too shy and intent on making myself useful for Ken, that I did not introduce myself to very many people.  I met him again a year later at the Masters Seminar in Las Vegas and spent more time getting to know him.  Fast forward to jvAlert in Philadelphia and Million Dollar Mike Morgan is introducing me to his copywriting team of Jay and Jenna, and telling me that if I ever needed any help to give him a call.
   But, I learned that you don’t take advantage of friendships, and I had sales page issues, but I did not want to impose on Mike, but he called me one day when I had tweeted my frustration with a sales page that had not sold one copy… he spent 20 minutes with me during my break at work giving me things that needed to change on the salespage to improve conversions.  I got home and made those changes and made a sale within minutes of the changes… Proof that my friendship had helped me, without my imposing on it.
5. Access To More Resources - JV Partners are treated better than affiliates.  So when someone is approaching the people with the audience to get word out about their products, they typically will give access to the product, because they know that an informed testimonial is more important than the testimonial itself.
6. Access To More Partners - When you make an acquaintance, they are rarely in a vacuum.  You befriend them, and they will brag to their friends about you and get you more partners for your cause.  This is the power of networking with networkers!
7.     Pam attended the event and saw something there that impacted her, as one of our team revealed some troubling secrets to Marianne Williamson that caused the entire audience to pray for her recovery.  This was powerful stuff, and nobody left the event unchanged.

    The week before jvAlert, I touched base with both Pam and Ken to see if they had come up with a way for Pam to speak at this jvAlert. Ken said no, but that I could invite her as my guest, so I contacted Pam and told her she could be my guest for jvAlert.  She wasn’t sure if she could go, because some obstacles were trying to keep her from coming.  Pam managed to have all the obstacles cleared (including finding a hotel nearby that cost half of what the event hotel was charging) and she arrived Thursday for the Social Net Effect Ladies (plus Warren Whitlock) Panel.  By Sunday, Pam had manage to help countless people and one in particular, our Impact Team Member who had needed our prayers in Long Beach.  I felt like God had used me to help put Pam into our midst.

Launching products is exciting for JV partners and the product owners alike.  You have to create the affiliate program, then create the affiliate tools and write the prelaunch, launch and post launch emails for your partners.  But the most exciting part is watching the cash come rolling in.  When you look in your Clickbank account and see the sales growing by the minute.  That is great!

Michael Cheney went from being a drug addict to being an Internet millionaire now, because he followed this golden formula… actually more like a golden thread!  His story is an inspiration to me, because I remember when I was much younger being in s situation where drugs were literally killing me, but I was too stoned to know it.  One day I saw how badly it was affecting my relationship with my wife and I quit and never went back.

That is why I made a decision to wear my golden threads.  I took the golden thread of my dreams and wove it into the garments that I am putting on as a soon to be free man!  It will feel nice when I wear that robe!  Those golden threads will be soft and silky against my skin and I will be able to spend my time in pursuit of excellence for my own family, not the Walton family.
