Writing can be really fun.

I like it because I can get words off my chest that I seem to trip over when I speak.

Don’t get me wrong, I speak to people and I am getting over my shyness with people I do not know. I think as we get older, we decide that we are not going to live forever, so we need to get our message out immediately. I say we, but I mean me.

So back to the topic: Articles. I like to write articles. Even when I have no idea what I am going to write about, I never have difficulty getting my words out when I am typing. One thing I have to be careful of is that my real thoughts come out, and sometimes that is not what people want to hear (read).

A good exercise to increase your writing speed and ability is to use free association. For you take 10 minutes and write down 10 to 20 totally unrelated words on a page. Then you open up a new Notepad Page and then look at one of the words and start writing about how the topic you want to write about is like the first word on that page. Write 5 minutes for each word and don’t worry about spelling, punctuation or grammar.

Just type anything that comes into your head. Make sure you save the file to your My Documents folder.
In about two hours, you will have a lot of material. Wait a day or two before reading what you wrote. At that point, you take the raw material and polish it into something ready to publish.

Of course, if you are writing on a topic you know nothing about, yet, you will still not produce very good articles unless you spend hours researching your topic. I love to go to the library for research because there are thousands of places to get the data I need. The only challenge is the time constraint – I only have so many hours in a day, so I cannot research everything I want to write about very quickly. Until now.

I just checked out Javed Akram’s newest Source Code Rebrand Sale and I was impressed at the detail he placed in his niche development.

I am sending out too many, according to my subscribers… no, the ones who say it are the unsubscribers.  So really, I shouldn’t give a rat’s nether regions about what the unsubscribers say, since the people who are staying with me must like what I have to say! If you don’t but have not unsubbed yet, please leave a comment to let me know.  I really do care.

Anyway with the too many emails comes the lack of responsiveness, and I cannot do that to my JV partners.  So I am instituting a new policy.  I will post daily, and the most important items will get mentioned on this blog and I will link to the blog in each email.

Apparently nobody is interested in Lifetime Traffic.  I couldn’t give away a single lifetime membership to Traf-X Traffic Exchange.  I know I am supposed to fake it till I make it, but this was a devastating blow to my ego and my morale…

When you hear people tell you that the money is in the list, it sure sounds good, but apparently the money is in a happy list.  There is a school of thought in the Internet Marketing community that says a list of people who only want free stuff will never buy anything, and I am beginning to believe it, because the last 900 people to join my list have been from the giveaway websites.  Many of them get upset when I email more than once a week and unsubscribe right away, which is a good thing.

What is strange to me is that if I am trying to help people succeed, and they ignore what I am telling them, why should I bother?

The importance of attitude is what counts in instances like this.  I can either let it bother me, or I can go on and succeed anyway.  You cannot help people who do not want to at least meet you halfway.  There is a saying, “You can’t push a rope, and you can’t nail Jell-o to a wall.”  It is a numbers game after all.

You offer to help everyone.

Then the ones who want your help will raise their hands.

Did you know that I did not get anyone to the teleseminar?  I talked to myself for a few minutes and finally hung up the phone.
