As you can see, I met quite a few of the marketing people I had hoped to meet.  I didn’t get a picture with Mike Filsaime or Rich Schefren, but I did sit beside both of them.  Both were very business oriented, they had a mission to accomplish and they were focused until that mission was finished.
Part of the fun was seeing the people inside and outside of the jvAlert Conference room.  Some of the people who attended were in the room only for Mike Filsaime and were not seen inside again for the rest of the weekend.  I worked at the conference, so I didn’t get to go outside too much to get my picture taken with the folks out there, although the alliances made at those outside the room meetings were probably more valuable than anything else that any of the speakers were saying.
Mark Hendricks brought his video camera and I saw him a few times interviewing various marketers for his list.  I got to see a few old friends and made a few new ones.  It was great to see so many people who were still humble enough to know that they did not know it all.  A few marketers believed they did, and they showed it by having their own discussions at the back of the room.  But overall, the “guru” factor was only slightly a problem.  Those who are gurus in their own right, what can I say, but thanks for bathing us in your light for a little while.
One guy who was always entertaining was Stuart Halpryn.  He always managed to be in the thick of things.  In fact, whenever I wasn’t paying attention, he was off to seafood restaurants with large groups of marketers, taking notes as to how many lobsters they were eating… Now he has leverage…lol.
The one guy that everyone owed a lot of respect to was Ken McArthur.  That man worked his behind off, was there till late and arrived early to make sure everything was perfect for his customers, the attendees.  In fact, he was often involved in making sure people were meeting the people they needed to meet to further their business goals, and he made sure the environment was set just right for those meetings to happen.
The next jvAlert is in June, and I intend to be attending as a guest instead of working there, although if Ken were to ask for my help, I would give it in an instant.  He has a way of making you feel like a part of the family, even though you don’t know anyone yet.  He puts everything together for mutual success to grow out of the gathering.  He brings high powered speakers, top notch people in the audience and the panelists that were in the hot seat were amazing as well.  They really made the hot seat process wonderful, because their knowledge was so vast and spread over many niches and specialties, that the information that they gave the hot seat contestant was pure gold.
The most amazing results I saw from the hot seats came from two different contestants.  The first was when George Levy finished his presentation on MySpace Mastership, and three members of the panel offered to do teleseminars with George.   The second came when Joyce (I don’t recall her last name), who had a project that trains parents and children in protecting them from predators, finished her presentation, the entire panel gave her amazing ideas that she could do to take her project nationally within weeks and everyone in the audience offered her their business card with an offer of assistance in promotion or anything else.  I was in that line, too.
Make plans for June to be at jvAlert Live, I’ll let you know the location as soon as I remember…  The benefits are incredible.

Picture a group of battle hardened warriors, weary from their day in battle.  They hear the distant call of a woman, crying out for help.  As they approach her, they can see that her pretty face is scarred by stress and depression, as well as the burden of carrying her unborn child.

Upon realizing her plight, they set upon her with ancient words of power and the wisdom of those who have traveled this road before.   They bring about a change in her heart, that her features instantly transform into the joyful beauty she once held no hope of finding until these warriors arrived upon the scene!

Confused?

Don’t worry, I am just reporting on a forum thread in the warrior forum.  A marketer in her final months of pregnancy was in a funk and asked the members of the forum for some encouragement.  The members rallied to her aid and gave her inspiration and hope.

Hope is a strong force, and it really makes a difference.  So give someone hope today!

Have an amazing day!
