Ross Goldberg’s Masters Seminar was a resounding success in so many ways.  I saw people who finally had the light bulb go on in their eyes after pounding their heads against a wall for so many months.  I saw partnerships created that will explode onto the scene in the near future. And I saw the marketing behemoth that is Las Vegas itself!

I sent my subscribers an email where I described the hotel where we stayed and how everything they did was just another way to get you to leave a little bit more money in their establishment.  The hotel lobby is adjacent to the casino.  The path to the elevators to get to your room is straight through the casino (which is a flashing, dinging, shouting, distracting and tempting study in marketing in itself), past the many restaurants and through a gauntlet of shops with their own brand of dazzling and distracting methods.

I visited a bar while I was downstairs, and each seat at the bar has a video slot or video poker machine.  I overheard a woman (dressed in leather and sporting more costume jewelry than one of those shops I told you about) saying into a guy’s ear at the bar, “This is Las Vegas, honey, nothing is free!”  I hesitate to imagine what she was discussing with him, but I had someone proposition me as I was rounding a bank of slots on the way back to my room one evening after one of those amazing meals at the Bellagio, asking me if I was looking for “entertainment…”  Needless to say, I kept walking to my room (alone).

Apparently there used to be a time when things in Vegas were free or almost free, because the casinos were making money hand over fist.  But the corporate types looked at the bottom line and thought, “we can make this a lot more profitable if we were to charge for Internet Service instead of providing it as a service.”  Heck they even stopped putting coffee pots in the rooms!  You want coffee, you have to go to their little kiosk located downstairs in the temptation zone.

A couple of speakers were against the giving away something for free model, while a couple said to give a report to get people into your influence, and then tempt them with your offers.  It is all a numbers game.  If you want to be known as the person who overdelivers, then by all means give free reports, or software that points people back to you.  Then tempt them with your marketing message.  The dollar per lead will be lower in those instances, but you will have more leads, while those who only sell everything, will have less leads, but higher dollars per lead!

I put together an offer that will last only until I sell 250 of these resale rights product packages.  I combined 48 MRR products for the Internet Marketer who wants to get a fast start by having so many products that their marketing funnel will be chock full!  I split it into 12 and 36, so if you want all of them, you will have to make 2 payments, but the prices are way too low for me to tell you about them here.  Go ahead and buy the 12 Pack Of Master Resale Rights Products That You Can Sell As A One Time Offer, or on your website individually.

Have an amazing day!

PPS – I will have photos from the seminar as soon as my friends email me back.  My own camera died on the first day, so I relied on friends to email them to me, and some of them are flying 11 hours and sleeping off the insanity after they get home.  I want to thank Ross Goldberg, Harris Fellman, Stephanie Mulac, Dr. Mike Woo Ming and so many others for everything they did to make the event so great!

In two weeks I’ll be doing it again in Orlando!  Stay Tuned!

  1. Check out the latest blog post about SEO Codebreaker at Your Directory Website Info!

Charles Kirkland is strutting his stuff, showing how to make the search engines bend to your will!

    See ya there!

  2. Mike Black says:

Hi Micheal and thanks for the emails from Vegas. I have been busy promoting FavYouTube which of course I purchased under you despite the 2 weeks of emails from Stephanie I hadn’t managed to read (there’s probably a good article in there somewhere).

Interesting observation. Only myself and one other (a dicky Indonesian bloke) have used YouTube to promote FavYouTube probably because people don’t know how to use a video editor to knock pu a quick promo and they are reluctant to do it live on webcam.

As a result, a search under YouTube for the product quickly puts me on the first page (under username ‘affiliatesuccess’). You already saw the clip with your name on it.

I have also jumped all over Hubpages since I saw it promoted and my entry on this (and shared with Digg)shot me to #2 and #3 on Google after Julius’ #1 listing. For a slow learning chiropractor, I am pretty chuffed about that.

Finally, a question about Mike Woo-Wing’s product Magic Video Player that I subscribed to some weeks back and as an affiliate. I am interested that you are doing some work with him – he is unknown to me. Is this product relly that unique in embedding an opt-in form at the end of a video and does it make that much difference to having an opt-in form just below a video or script?

I will give it a good shot to market but wonder if it deserves the time and attention? If I set up a video with opt-in form embedded and converted by his product to Flash and install it on my own website, how do I attach a URL to it. For that matter, how do you take any JPEG on your website and attach a URL to it?

If I can do this, I will import it to Hubpages where I can flog it more widely to a captive audience.

Glad to see your trip was a success. I was last in Vegas in 1987! Lot’s of changes. And you get Diggs from me for your help – daily for a while!!

  3. You can do things similar to Magic Video Player with Camtasia, but it is a lot more complicated until you know what you are doing. Magic Video Player just makes it much easier.

Dr. Mike Woo Ming is a physician who saw the way the medical profession was headed and decided to supplement his income with online work such as affiliate marketing and soon was outdistancing his physician’s income. At that point he decided to make Internet Marketing be his full time career and now he does work with autistic children as that is one of his causes.

Howie Schwartz teamed up with Dr. Mike for the Lead Supreme launch last November. It was a major hit.

Glad to see that you are hitting it hard. Keep up the great work, and you’ll be doing the same things that Dr. Mike is.

    Have an amazing day!

    Micheal

PS – To everyone out there who has not heard about FAVYoutube, it is a system that allows you to put up a couple of content sites that pull in videos so that you get great search engine coverage (with the Universal Search, videos outpull some highly optimized pages) so that you can make your commissions from Adsense, Affiliate programs and the like. It is very easy to monetize, and the results members have been getting is amazing!

I have an interview with Stephanie Mulac and Julius Moltgen on my website that you can check out absolutely free!
